This album consists of images others considered good shots over the past year. Some of the images were purchased for commercial use, some were featured in other blogs like EarthSky, and some will be included in the 20 Cheers For Tokyo video project by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government for the Olympics. My list of favorite images from 2019 will differ, but its interesting to see what the The Viewer considers valuable or interesting or beautiful.

Doing nothing is hard to do. The something closest to doing nothing is walking. Viewed from this perspective, a walk is not just good creative exercise. It’s a form of protest against buying and selling, against goal-directed busyness. It’s an autonomous march in opposition to the stream of conformity.
